<< Listing of Imladris Elves

Leaving the sanctuary of the Last Homely House, you follow a winding path deeper into the old forest, moving toward a curve of the river. The forest is ancient, a place full of memory and anticipation. The forest creatures appear in number, aware that the master of this realm cherishes their presence. As you follow a worn path, you notice that the the branches meet to form a natural canopy above you. Beautiful jasmine and fragrant lilies line the way; lavender hydrangea, yellow jonquils and many shades of roses add soft color to the bright emerald green of the forest. As you come out of the cathedral of the forest, you find yourself in a beautiful glade. Tall oak, beech and willow trees dot the glade, but in the center of it lies the breathtaking Govannas in Glirdain, the Guild of the Bards of Imladris.

It is here that the great song of the enchanted land joints with the voices of the bards who call this place home. Like it was in the beginning, when the themes of the world were created, nature and creation sing together to weave a powerful song. This is the power of the Bards’ Guild of Imladris, and this is its beauty. Situated next to the Bruinen’s falls, with a stunningly inspirational view of the Hithaeglir, the Guildhall is truly a place of magnificence upon Middle-earth.

All people of all races are welcome to the Bards’ Guild. This Guild is a family, a place where all can gather together in love of our bardic arts, and find fellowship. We are located in the Govannas in Glirdain House in Rivendell. Don’t be afraid to come and say hello, we’d love you to. You may join in as many discussions there as you have time for and interest in.
