Aleandra
Alea
She came to Imladris a few years ago, looking for answers about her past
and her blood kin. The South was her home, an unknown country south of Harad her
childhood playground. Raised in the care of her adoptive father, she learned the
healing and battle arts, and the local culture was ingrained deeply in her
nature. Seeing her valour and dedication to her people, she was intrusted the
guard of the living hope of her people, held by her sword sister. After an
unfortunate accident, her sister was turned into a fox, yet Aleandra watches
over her still.
But with the death of her adoptive father, an odd desire took over
Aleandra: the need to find her "real" family, and why she had been sent into the
South. Knowing of the entended library Imladris offered, she set out to the
elven city far in the North, with Silfëa, her fox, at her side. But the journey
wasn't as smooth as they had anticipated. Comming near the dreaded lands of
Mordor, she was ambushed by a group of orcs, led by am ennemy from Harad. For
weeks she was in their clutches, her force failing with each day of torture that
passed. But Eru had not abandoned her yet: an opportunity offered itself, and
she was able to flee to Lothlorien. There her wounds were treated and her wounds
slowly healed, with the help of Luinarien, who was in the Golden woods at the
time. No mark was left upon her skin of the ordeal, exept deep psycological
scars and a sight lessened to a human's.
Her journey resumed, and arriving finaly in the Last Homely House, she
rested and searched intensively in the Library. Her efforts giving no fruit, she
turned from the ancient books to the living elves, where a chance meeting could
solve everything. Her intuition did not let her down however, when, during a
quest to recover a kidnapped elf, she found her mother amid her brothers-in-arm.
With her, her past was unveiled: daughter of Mantauriel and Eruondo, she lived
with them in Mirkwood for her first years until she was sent to the South by
order of king Thranduil, in order to protect his honor daughter's child. Divided
for several thousand years, their reunion was a warm and joyus one, despite
their dark surroundings at the time.
Now settled in Rivendell, she then entered the Elven army, quickly becoming
an Arquendi of the Rivendell Defence and a Healer of the Army, her skills
previously learned in the South earning her the title of Third Master healer.
She is also one of the first five creators of the Shadow guard, a secret
mafia-like association. Yet her career does not rule her life, seeing that she
has met a charming and handsome Istari: Varatolos. They married, and they now
both live in wedded bliss, and although Rivendell is her home for now, she still
remembers her home in the South, and will never forget it.
