Aredhel Feandro

Ari

Aredhel Lomiel was a Noldorin Elf from Lindon. Her father was Ereinion Gil-galad, last High King of the Noldor. Her mother was Gilmith of Dol Amroth, daughter of Imrazor the Numenorean and the Elven-lady Mithrellas. Soon after her birth, her mother disappeared, leaving her father, Gil-galad, to raise his beautiful daughter. Aredhel grew up to be a wildly beautiful, uncontrollable, maiden, and rode with her father to the War of the Last Alliance. After the death of Gil-galad, disconsolate, Master Elrond brought her to Imladris, and there she lived. She became the Lore-Master of Rivendell, and under the rulers Pip and MC, started work on a magnificent library for Rivendell. Aredhel was known by many names, Aredhel, Ari (by her friends), Aredhel Lomiel, Ereiniel, and Tar-Calastirne.

In the Search for the Last Palantir, she found her father’s coronet in the hands of a Dark Elf. She took the coronet, but did not take up her father’s throne, for she knew that the realm of the Noldor had ended, and now was the Dominion of Men.

She spent most of her time away from Rivendell, wandering in Middle-earth. Aredhel became known as a fierce warrior, despite her unusually small stature for an Elf, and as an extraordinarily good tracker, being trained by the Dunedain of Arnor.
