Jade Laurelin Jade Laurelin is a Noldor Elf, born at the Holy land of Valinor. Jade Laurelin has long golden hair and bright blue eyes. Jade dearly loved Varda, the queen of the Stars, especially Lord Manwe of the Wind. Even as a child, she loved them and she learned many things from the Lady and the Lord. She grew to love the stars, the sky and all things that flies in the wind. When the Noldor began to depart from Valinor, Jade went with them, for her heart was ever curious of the land that lies outside Valinor, but as she departed she silently prayed that Varda and Manwe high up in their throne will forgive her and will bless her in her journeys. Though young she was able to manage the journey to Arda, Jade stayed with her grandmother Galadriel in Doriath, there she learned skills of the Silvan Elves, and of Melian, the Maia. Jade did not go with the other Noldor back to Valinor after the destruction of Beleriand, for she dearly loved Middle Earth, and though she missed the glory of Valinor, she stayed in Middle Earth with her family. She was one of the Elves that went with the host of Gil-galad in the Last Alliance of Elves and Men, and was one of those who witnessed Isildur cut the ring from Sauron’s finger with the hilt-shard of Narsil, and took the One Ring for his own. Jade survived the war with some wounds and the memory of the bloody war that she will forever carry with her till the end. Jade spent the following years resting and healing her wounds in Lothlorien, where she lived peacefully with the Lady Galadriel and the Galadhrim. After a few decades, Jade Laurelin went to travel throughout Middle Earth, she passed many great lands, and was a guest of the King of the Woods in Mirkwood. In the great woods, she also spent time with her sister, Lucilla. Then, she continued traveling until she found the Last Homely House of Rivendell and settled there under the rule of Lord Elrond, the great master of lore. Jade spent many years in Rivendell learning lore and ways of healing, she also made many friends before departing to travel once more. A few years later, Jade reached the Western side of the Misty Mountains and met Lyceus, the love of her life. Jade and Lyk were married in the golden woods with the blessing of the Elves in Lorien and Rivendell. Jade bore Lyceus three children, Telepavariel, Immanonwen and Aduchil. The couple waited till their children passed their years of childhood before returning to Rivendell once more, where they like many others joined the Newly formed Elven Army, which was under the command of Jade’s mother, the great general Laebeth. Lyceus joined the Sea Forces, and Jade joined the Troops Abroad, which was under the command of her father Arlo Cúthalion. Jade also serve as one of the many wise councellors of Rivendell, she was also present in the Council of Elrond, and she also participated in the War against Mordor. Jade formed the Iluisa, with the SP Captain Curufinwe Feanor. And later on, Endilion and Astaldoreiel joined as well. Back to the top Return to the front page of the book
