Leyowena
Leya
by Twilight Epiphanies Productions
My name is Leyowena, though I am fondly named as Leya or Leyo by my friends, family and associates. I am originally from Mirkwood, though I have been living in Imladris for a short while now. I left Mirkwood after my father my slain, for my mother had long since departed for the West, leaving us both behind. After my father died, I knew that there was no longer any reason for me to remain in Mirkwood, alone, so I departed soon after. I wandered for some time before I arrived at Imladris and began to wonder many things about myself and my life; I began to remember things that I had long forgotten, or did not even think I should remember…so I tried to ignore these snippets of memory and travelled around wandering again, visiting many cities but never remaining there long; I could not settle. The memories began to come more profoundly and I began to remember people; there were visions of a man whom for some reason in my dreams I called father…I saw a sister and happiness…though the happiness faded and the memories were quelled by my own will to stifle them. I soon came back to Imladris after I was adopted by mortal parents of Gondor and Rohan and then settled in Imladris, hoping to find peace and happiness. I found this for a while…though soon the memories began to come back and I could no longer control them…so instead I looked to them for answers. One day…the answers were revealed to me and were even more horrific than I had ever imagined. That day I was relaxed and happy…but then a strange figure came to Imladris…a figure feared by all. Eventually I set out to follow this fiend and met a fellow elf and friend Luvi Tindómerel along the way. We had been very close since I had arrived in Imladris and it seemed nothing but natural that we were close…close as sisters in fact…for it was around that time that we confronted the stranger…we learned that this mysterious fiend, the Black Hawk was Luvi's father…and her my sister. Now she has given up her immortality and taken to the ways of Men…whilst I remain true to my Elven blood. In Imladris I remain and shall do so until I am drawn West and away from this world.
