Merlomë Áraniel Merl Moriestel My name is a long one, and I shall not mention it all. In short I am Merlomë Áraniel, or Merl as my friends and family call me. Daughter of Nénel Celeninquë and Celenairo Tulcasurë. My mother was a Noldo, related to the Lady Galadriel. My father was a Sindar, descendant of Lord Elu Thingol of Doriath. We lived happy, untill.. One day, my father left my mother and me in the care of Queen Melian, and went to fight the Dark Lord. He never came back, many died in the battle of Nirnaeth Arnoediad. My mother was devistated by the loss and did not feel like staying in Middle Earth anymore. Once Morgoth was defeated, and the Pardon of the Noldor came, she sailed into the West, leaving me in the hands of her kin that stayed. Making me an orphan. I travelled with the Lady Galadriel when she went to Neniual, and stayed there with her for a while. I had decided to follow my Lady everywhere and so I went with her when she left for Eregion. I met many elves there, and one of them was Dúnetalath Taurendor, which I lost my heart to the moment I had saw him. We took the vow of marriage and travelled to Lothlórien when Galadriel went too. I still could not leave my lady. But when I had lived happily for a while in the Golden Wood, my soul began to stir and I had to leave again. I travelled to Imladris, where I found even more happiness. I have a mother now, Callisima Rosedrear, who was kind enough to adopt me when she learned I was an orphan. I also have a sister now, Silivren Niphredil, and a loving mortal father, Encaitar of Rohan. I have found many friends in Imladris; Leyowena, Avarhiliel, Andi Vanariel, and more. I adopted Laebeth Êlseron, who had become an orphan again. I have found my happiness in Imladris, with a loving family and great friends. I am home.
