The ELP
The Elf Preservation Society was
founded on, or preceeding, the date of
4th February 2002, by Vivienne, the
Poetry Maia. The acronym ELP is
mysterious in origin, it does not fit
the actual name of the society, which
would be EPS.
The ELP was founded after several high
ranking elves deflected to join other
races, leaving us to be overrun with
newbies. The Society members vowed to attempt
to prevent other elves from deflecting,
and never turn their nose up at badger
on a stick!
Badgers were introduced to the ELP, Rivendell,
and indeed the whole plaza, after Viv wrote
that we should carry badgers, meaning to
say badges. From that point, they took flight,
they were everything to the elves, staple
diet, main weapon, pet, interesting object
of conversation...
Anyway, after a little amount of time,
the ELP evolved, and became a kind of
psychiatric hospital, where people could
come with their various mental problems.
We have had many high-profile patients,
our visitors have included Melkor, Varda,
Yavanna, Arwen Evenstar and her husband
Aragorn, Elrond Half-Elven and the Lady
Galadriel!
