August 2nd - Last Homely Herald for August is released. This issue marks Tinw's six month anniversary as co-editor for a paper that just keeps getting better and better!

August 7th - August's SCRs are announced - Khait will be Celebrían of the red hair, Lclalau will be Elrohir and Sériva Elladan, two of the most admired icons on the Plaza, Avárith is Círdan the Wise and Weny will be Legolas. Er...lucky her? *g*

August 15th - Emyn Beraid, an RPG for elves to get to explore their characters and visit the lands near the Sundering Sea, is opened.

August 17th - Feanor Elf is voted off Survivor, leaving once again only one Rivendell elf still hanging in there. The tribes then merged into one tribe known as Ithil.

August 19th - The Rivendell Army is moved back to Rivendell and the Army House after two years on ezboard!

August 24th - Yr na Rochan (Race to Rohan) is opened for Army members, one of the first Army activities found in Rivendell since its move back to the Plaza. Pairs of adventurers must hurry to Rohan in a race against each other, passing various obstacles on their way...

August 25th - Fir opens her first RPG in Rivendell. Called Loremasters of Imladris, the intrepid elves who join up must travel to Ost-in-Edhil on the word of a Second Age journal written in Quenya, searching for something that is "more than mithril"...
