The Great Chase of The Ladies of the West

Many of us have heard about the GCLW but it has never been truly explained. Gilraen, the mighty Arwen of Minas Tirith, kindly divulged this information to me today, so enjoy!

*Gilraen sits on an armchair near a roaring fire, with little children sitting on the floor at her feet. Her eyes are still bright in her heavily wrinkled face. Her gnarled hands are in her lap. She leans forward, and her voice is still vibrant and full of passion as she recalls her youth. She speaks:*

When I was young, I once ventured into a very strange pub, where I met a few drunken Elf-maidens, a Wizard singing Queen on a Karaoke machine, a very attractive but self-centered Elf Lord and tasted some very spicy Orc stew cooked by a Hobbit.
After chasing me to the roof to mace my head open, the Elf Ladies finally accepted me as a member of the Great Chase of the Ladies of the West. We then went on a quest to retrieve a magic mirror that only showed the fair face of the Elf Lord Dai Shan, a Lady Balrog, a flying Karaoke machine, a tea tray on which fiery letters appeared when put in the fire. We met and fought Saruman at Ortanc, before the name of Le Bob had ever reached his now international fame. We discovered the unorthodox use he, GandOsse and Dai Shan made of the Orthanc Palantir.
Oh, my memory is sadly gone, I forgot about the time when Minas Tirith was under attack ! I valiantly defended the White City against a horde of Elves wielding the worst of menaces, catapulting hungry Hobbits over our walls, sending Legolas to prance under the walls, before he was swallowed by the earth in a deep crevace that hopened under his feet. The Crown of the Kings of Gondor was stolen, found again, cloned, and a dubious ring of power thrown in Andurin .... Ha, these were good times indeed.
Now it is bed time, children, if you are nice, tomorrow I will tell you about the time I was kidnapped and taken prisonner in the dungeons of Orthanc Tower."
