July 2nd - The Last Homely Herald, July issue, is released. It includes an interview with Fëawen, part five of the Lay of Imladris and generally plenty of interesting things to read!

July 4th - Feanor Elf wins the Rivendell Cheetah Race with his cheetah Lord of Fire, followed by Khait in second place and Túrelië and lclaulau in third. Congratulations to them all!

July 6th - July's Special Character Ranks are announced. Mor Olnathron becomes Lindir, Gilanna is Celebrían, Inwë Lythian will be Gildor, Silmarwen gets to be Elrohir. Melanoriel is Elladan.

July 6th - Peeg opens a random "Flet of Doom" thread in Rivendell, for elves to describe their telain and who they'd invite there - the answers make for very intersting (if odd) reading.

July 7th - Ringil RPG is opened by Inwë Lythian, where a group of elves go on a quest for Fingolfin's sword, Ringil, although many perils and problems must first be faced.

July 15th - Laiv leaves Survivor: Middle Earth, leaving Cemen with only one member more than Menel, and very few Rivendell elves at all.

July 17th - Eithil (yep, me *g*) is announced as the new Kingdom Historian, with Elenear as the assistant historian.

July 22nd - Rilondë opens Rivendell's first Gardening activity, called Lothrad, for Rivendell elves to make their valley a more beautiful place. Daffodils are being planted, among other flowers.
