October 3rd- In need of putting focus on RL for a while, Nuladiel was sadly forced to leave the plaza =(

October 4th- For their exceptional contribution to the Bard’s Guild, these persons were promoted:

Annatariel - Outstanding Student of Song.
Annúminas - Outstanding Student of Lore.
Rilómë - Outstanding Student of Story.
Melania - Outstanding Student of Sindarin.
Aegnel - Outstanding Student of Quenya.

Edileth Ethúviel, for the task of gathering the Guild’s archived works, received the title of Exceptional Contributor to the Guild.

Tinw, for her work in spreading Bardic art throughout the Kingdoms, was named Exceptional Bard of the Guild.

October 5th- Fean`aro opened the Smithy contest for armour. Here the Elves were put to their test as smiths, to see if anyone could still demonstrate the skill of the Noldor of old.

October 6th- While the Elven Army was supposed to start the finale for the Army Battle Tourney around this time. However, due to miscommunications, the Air Force did not show up with a team, and the Troops Abroad was declared the winner! The lucky soldiers received one medal each, the Tourney Trophy, and some points from our very generous rulers.

October 7th- The Army RPG “The Search for the Lost, Found and Stolen Silmaril,” written by Aurëthil and Curu started.

October 9th- On this shining morning, the Imladris Convention started. The Imladris Convention was a meeting for the different army and defensive organization leaders of Middle-earth to discuss things concerning Army wars. Some of the problems experienced after previous wars have been for example the issue of godmoding. The purpose of this convention was to make definitions for these things which can count for all the kingdoms, and be used as guidelines in case of disagreements.

October 10th- The first Rivendell Thief Hunt was started by Nevquessewen. It went on for five days, on which day the winner was announced as Lady Shadowdawn! During the rest of the month, three Thief hunts follows.

October 11th- The Ultimate Caption Contest, where the Elves were supposed to vote for one winner out of ten of Rivendell’s funniest captions, was started by Arlo. This was of course the source of a lot of laughter and joy, and the Firstborn were merrier than ever. In the end, they voted the winner Cirwen, who had made an exceptionally funny caption to a picture of Legolas!

October 12th- The Smithy contest for Swords was opened by Fean`aro.

October 14th- An allegiance is made between the Dona Ally of the Elvini family, and the Don Umarth of the Mordini Family.

October 21st- AragornElessar, known as Arele to most, left the plaza. =(

October 22nd- From the shadows of an almost forgotten past, the FL Commander Meve popped out, and started an ELP clinic to most people’s fright, joy and insanity!

October 24th- Middle-earth Survivor is started by Leal! 22 persons are divided into two tribes. These two tribes will be pitted against each other in a battle of wits and knowledge, and yes, reward and immunity challenges will be thrown in to make things all the more exciting.

October 25th- The Calling RPG is started by Ally. Open for all participants, it was successful from the very beginning!

October 31st- The Cooking Contest of Mushrooms and Stew is started by Firerose. The participants will be judged by the name of the food, the ingredients, and basically how tasty it looks as a whole.
It is Hallowe’en! Rivendell wakes up, not to a bad hairday, but to changed appearances: They are now Santa Elves! Arlo’s eyebrows has been exchanged by the subtle appearance of Dobby the House-Elf, and Ally’s shining bright icon has now been transformed into Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Help!
