The Lay of Gil-galad

In the western part of the library, standing about 3 foot in front of the shelves, stands a large wooden frame,
supported by two legs. Imbedded into it is a large piece of parchments, measuring roughly 4 foot in length
and 2 in width. Those who approach it, and can read Sindarin, notice the title: "The Lay of Gil-galad". Beneath
it, the parchment tells the story of the last High Elven King in Middle-earth; Gil-galad, son of Fingon son of
Fingolfin. Though the sun lits the corner the frame is placed, a sense of grief overcomes all who read the tale.
The final words keep echoing in their readers' minds:
Mi Vordor ias i núath caedar...
"In Mordor, where the shadows are..."
