Elven Portraits: Beyond the Ears

Opening the door to a circular building you step inside. The walls are pale gold and contain many empty picture frames. Hanging from the ceiling by gossamer-thin chains are countless jewels that ring with sweet music like windchimes as they bump together. Inside each jewel is the image of a face which seems both familiar and strange to the Elves who dwell in this valley. An inscription upon the mosaic floor reads: "Each jewel shall show you the otherworldly faces of those who walk in both worlds. The seen and the unseen... touch them only if you are ready to see the unseen."

You reach out to touch one of the glittering jewels, and suddenly before your eyes, the empty picture frames come to life...
