The High Pass

The High Pass was one of the few places where travellers could safely cross the Misty Mountains . It was located on the slopes of the mountains east of Rivendell. The other passes were the Gap of Rohan to the far south, and the Pass of Caradhras in the more central regions of Middle-earth.
