Honored Elves of Imladris
Upon this scroll are recorded for posterity the honors given to those who have done special service to the realm.
Elladan is the elder of the twin sons of Elrond, born in the 139th year of the third age. With his brother Elrohir he performed many deeds, of which saving his mother Celebrían from the orcs must be counted. Elladan fought in the War of the Ring alongside Aragorn.
Elrohir was one of the twin sons or Elrond. He and his brother Elladan dedicated themselves to seeking out and slaying the orcs that infested the Misty Mountains. Elrohir also fought in the War of the Ring against Sauron's forces.
Celebrían was the daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn. She wedded Elrond Peredhil and with him she had twin sons, Elladan and Elrohir, and a daughter, Arwen Undómiel. After having been assaulted by orcs in the Misty Mountains and rescued by her sons, the will to stay in Middle-earth left her, and she sailed West.
Ereinion Gil-galad was the last High-King of the Noldor. After the destruction of Beleriand he founded a kingdom in Lindon. Later, when Eregion was sacked, he came in possession of both Narya and Vilya. He gave Narya on to Círdan, but kept Vilya with him until later when he passed it on to Elrond. Gil-galad reigned in Lindon until II 3440, when he set out with the Last Alliance. At the end of this war, however, the King perished by the heat of Sauron's hand.
Gildor Inglorion was one of the High Elves of Noldorin origins who dwelt in Rivendell during the War of the Ring. He was the leader of the Wandering Company Frodo and his friends met on their journey to the Valley of the Elves.
Lindir was one of the Elves who dwelt in Imladris during the Third Age. He is mentioned in LotR, where he listens to Bilbo's song in the Hall of Fire and claims he cannot hear what parts the Hobbit wrote, and which were of Aragorn's making.
Galdor of Mithlond was Círdan's trusted messenger to Elrond, arriving in time to take part in the Council of Elrond, where he joined the debate what should happen to the One Ring.
Círdan the Shipwright was one of the Teleri who remained in Middle-earth when the rest of his kin continued their journey West. To him Gil-galad passed on Narya, the Ring of Fire, which Círdan himself gave to Gandalf upon the Wizard's arrival in Middle-earth. Círdan lived in Lindon during the second and third age, founding Mithlond, and eventually taking up reign in Lindon after Gil-galad's fall in the Last Alliance.
Erestor was Elrond's chief counsellor. He was present at the Council of Elrond, where he advised that the ring should be guarded far away from Sauron.
Elwing was the daughter of Dior son of Lúthien. She survived the kinslaying at Doriath and fled to the Mouths of Sirion, where she married Eärendil. During the kinslaying there, she escaped to her husband's ship in the form of a bird, and together they bore a Silmaril back to Valinor.
Eärendil was the son of Idril daughter of King Turgon, and mortal Tuor. He escaped the ruin of Gondolin when he was seven, and at the Mouths of Sirion met and married Elwing. By the light of the Silmaril he made his way to Valinor and pleaded the Valar to aid the Children of Eru, leading to the capture of Morgoth. His ship was then set aloft with the Silmaril, and he sails across the heavens as Gil-Estel, the Evening Star.
Legolas was the son of King Thranduil of Mirkwood. At the Council of Elrond, he was chosen to represent the Elves in the Fellowship of the Ring. When the Fellowship was broken, he journeyed south together with Aragorn and Gimli, fighting by their side at the Hornburg and later at the Pelennor fields. Note: This icon has been handed over to Lothlórien as of September 2005 and will no longer be given to Imladris members.

What are these SCRs?
Beginning in April 2004, Special Character Icons were seen on the Plaza. These are the brainchild of Mirluin, former ruler of the White Council. Each Kingdom has special characters and offers them to members who have contributed to the Kingdom, to hold for a one-month period. The recipients may roleplay the character if they wish. The honor comes with the salary of a Rank 15.
Special thanks to Mirluin for the idea, and to Protoguy and Mo for creating the icons!
