The Forest of Fangorn welcomes all races to visit and/or become one of them. Beneath the snow-laden boughs of the forest, there are a range of activities to be dug up, be they RP, lore, IK evENTs, or plain simple fun games.

Perhaps you are feeling a little treeish. Then let us show you what else makes Fangorn unique.

Whether Ent, Entwife, Huorn or non-treeish person - Fangorn is full of welcoming residENTs that can’t wait to meet you. Of course, you can also post in here just to get to know some of them a bit better, and find out if they are really as nuts as they seem to be! You best get used to the puns they are addicting. *g*  If you want to introduce yourself within the Kingdom just head over to the Greenhouse! (<<clickable)

At this point, we’d point you towards the Guide to Fangorn (clickable link), where you can see a list of all activities and signposts and shortcuts (namely links to the threads.)

Fangorn works under an Open Forest (<<clickable) scheme, where all members that meet certain requiremENTs can open a thread whenever they want without prior ruler permission.

So c’mon and sprout with us! Oh, and don’t forget to hug a tree today! Go on!   We know you want to…*g*

If you’ve got any questions, don’t hesitate to ask here - apart from that have fun!

<Fimbrethil Edit: Updated the links>

But since you constitute the Forest as individuals belonging to this greater group...it should make you Sprouts....

Poison?!  Noooo, these berries aren't poisonous...perhaps the source of interesting prescription medications, but not poison!

Hmmm, nice list...

You plot of ways to get people to eat your berries...check.
Many of you have odd tastes...I didn't think so until the neighbors complained, so-check.
Post in purple...check.
Some of you have purple juice inside your fruits...*squishes berry, tries not to think of what I thought of already*  Check-sort of.
Others of you love the colour red...Check.
Act strange when the moon is out....No more than usual.

5 out of 6...yep, I'm qualified.

Oakie straightened herself up.  "Gather around all of you with ebil red berries.  In honor of her Rohness, the first to have such berries, I forthwith found the Order of the Ebil Red Berry.  My first inductees will be Ravennë, Cami LiveOak, Nightshade and her Rohness.  Our mission is to turn other races into trees--er I mean Ents.

Now lets explain the ranks of the OERB.

Rank 13 -- You have those pretty white flowers, but under there the ebil red berries are hiding.  That makes you an apprentice OERB where you are learning the ropes of Ebil red berryness.

Rank 14 -- This is where most OERBs are.  You plot of ways to get people to eat your berries.  Many of you have odd tastes and post in purple.  Some of you have purple juice inside your fruits.  Others of you love the colour red and act strange when the moon is out.

Rank 15 -- Old and Huornish is the best description in most cases.  You are marked by a very red canopy that makes you look like a blaze of fire standing there in the woods.

When a Fangorn member reaches 8000 points and they bloom then can be inducted into the OERB.

Whose evil red berries are being stolen? *checks own* Mine tend to be like those scarabs in "The Mummy"; they burrow up under anyone's skin who tries to take them, and makes them want to go all leafy and branchy and move to Fangorn. Or eating them could have the same effect. Or something like that.
