...but I talk too much, so I still try to explain!

I mentioned an awful Doomsday Weapon I stumbled across recently. You MySpace kids probably know all about it, but us Moldys are still trying to decipher chat-speak.

It's like all the powers of Foo at your fingertips.  Powers which I shunned and fought against for so long, in my attempts to bring the dream of Tolkien's Middle-Earth to life. My wise co-ruler Eithil finally taught me to stop and eat smell the daffodils once in a while. But I was never good at it, like Mr. Data trying to write poetry.

I have found something like Data's emotion chip which allows me to simulate Foo... in a carefully-controlled environment, nowhere NEAR IC... Nu%20uh%20uh

So anyway, enough with serious explanations.

We could even have the Blingee Appendices in the Movie forum, adding tidbits from canon and shedding new light on Jackson's work...

halfir: do it, do it, do it: a competition to discover the true Lord of the Blingee! I'm biased by having entirely too much fun with this ridiculous toy. But I can always be coaxed to work a little mischief in the spirit of Loki... even when he's dressed like thatLOL

And those who haven't checked this thread will be as shocked and surprised at halfir being a silly goose as I was myself when this strange icon appeared next to my name. I don't know if that splooshy sound I heard the other day was Númenor sinking, but the world (for me, at least) has become decidedly Bent lately! beam It can use a little shaking-up, provided that we keep a firm grip on Middle-earth's bedrock, and don't allow our home to follow Beleriand into the sea.

Fly: Clearly, even with Blingee, some people have greater art. Yours is actually artistical and looks good... sort of. Bravo! beam

Well, you did ask!LOL

"Frazzelator:
a short gun with a large bore firing many balls or slugs, and capable of doing execution within a limited range without exact aim."

A poem
If you want a frazzle free life
If you want a life of bliss
Hurrry quickly acolytes all
And fill a position on our list

Those of you who dilly dally
Those who are slothful and remiss
Will find the 'frazzleator' unleashed
And life will shortly be dismissed

Those who join gain unnumbered pleasures
Joy of Eden and of Paradise
But those who only shilly shally
Will find that life's not very nice

Yet Another poem

It pains me much (Lord halfir said)
Emitting a heavy sigh,
To see so few now post in here
Perhaps they ought to fry.

Acolytes and neophytes, and sybarites galore
We used to have adoring here
But now the many  come no more,
What has caused them to disappear?

I fear they've grown complacent
Basking in the Light
And if indeed that is the case
It's time they had a fright.

He called his trusty guardsmen
The Frazzleator to prepare
And soon its gleaming muzzle
Was pointing in the air.

Take aim, and fire some warning shots
On those once trusty and true
Who now have fallen from a state of grace
And our ordinances do eschew

A wailing and piteous moaning arose from all of  those who saw
Their lackadaisical performance would close forever the door
On the Light Halfirian
Which they could wrong no more.

My object is, Lord halfir said,
With a hint of G&S'ian rhyme,
To make the necessary punishment
Fit the egregious crime.

I shall therefore, from this day forth
Without warning, explanation, or sign
Treat all backsliding malingerers
In ways that are most malign.

Only one respite is offered
To those who repent and re-adore
Do it within these 24 hours
And the Frazzleator shall avoid your door

Failure to heed these warning words
Will cause grief and distress
And you will only have yourselves to blame
For getting into such a mess!

O Master of the Light, forgive me for the paroxysms of terror and dismay that prevent me entering the competition - I think I need to go and have a lie-down in  a darkened room instead.  Great idea, and all, but I'm getting too old.  Loki?  (Coyote, Ananse, etc??) - so we have elected a Trickster to oversee the Lore threads  I am so confused now I think I I might wander off into the blue and have some mad adventures, all by myself huh? Genius

I actually think that Orlando Blood got the role because he looks like the cartoon character.

I would so put a Hobbit on Board yellow diamond on my car like your drawing has. Great page Tinw
