The characters in Minas Tirith

was asked to tell a few things about myself. Now normally I dislike talking about my family but since mormegill and our king insists I will.

was born in Angmar and I was the only daughter of a local Sheriff. At eight years old I found out that he wasnt my father but married my mother after my real father had died in the war of the ring the year after I was born. I have two older brothers one went to Gondor to become a Ranger when he was eighteen but returned two years after swearing never to return. He never talked about it since. A year ago I heard that he went into Mordor and never was heard of since.

oon after my sixteenth birthday I came to Minas Tirith alone. I was a confident traveler and my abilities with sword and shield were well known in my town. My parents did not like me going to the great white city as they thought that it wasnt a job for a girl and that I would be disgraced and bring shame on the family. This thankfully has not happend yet or I definately would not go home anyway. The family would have had me married as would my childhood sweetheart who made me choose between Gondor and him!! I have heard that he is married and has three beautiful children now!

lthough I was not bad as a soldier and it turns out that I would probably been a great Rider I have found a calling which suites me better that of a Healer. I befriended the Master Healer Nienna and she soon showed me that there are differnt things to do with a dagger than just stabbing people. She took me under her wing and trained me as her apprentice. Now thanks to her great patience with my eternal questioning and sometimes petulance I have been promoted to Master Healer of the Rangers a title she once held. She has gone on to be the healer of Minias Tirith. I hope that our friendship will go on as I am sure that I will possibly need her help. With this new job which means new responsibilities for me so that I had to move to the small hospital in the Rangers Headquarters which is more than adequite for me.

f indeed you are looking for me and do not find me there you are sure to find me either relaxing in an inn, whatever its new name or location my be, or riding in the low lands on my horse Terra. That is me I am afraid for now. I hope to see you soon but hopefully not in my official capacity but in our local pub for an after shift drink.
