A Story
by Narsil Anduril

n a little cottage laid a bed and in that bed was a little girl waking up.Narsil Anduril was her name though she was alway known as Naran or Narsil. She slowly got out of bed, got dressed, brushed her hair, washed her face, and 10 minutes later was out in the street with her ranger cloak protecting her from the rain.
"Sweet another rainy day. Just what i needed to wake me up this morning for duties," she thought.
he finally arrived to the pub and ordered breakfast. She ate it the fastest she could but not to fast either. After half an hour she left for the walls at run, thinking she wouldn't have to pass five long hours standing there in the rain. Arrive late and you got the time you were late added to your time as overtime.
rc troupe heading straight for us!!!!!" Naran screamed at the same time as ringing the alarm. All of the soldiers, guards and captains came running to their positions and after just a couple of seconds the sky was covered of arrows belonging to orcs and archers.
he ran up the stairs and helpt her fellow gondorian pals to protect the wall. Pushing ladders, cutting ropes, and aming arrows was the only thing she could do at the moment until she got shown by a soldier the new plan of the orcs. Somekind of tunnel digging under the wall. If they can't come in by the top why not under.
n idea ran through her head but it would need some coperation. She told the soldier what to exactly do and he ran to the kitchens were he would ask the cookers to brew some hot soup and bring it back here in a cauldron. Another was to fetch wood to start a fire. Finally a guard arrived and started looking where the orcs were starting to the tunnel and went back downstairs and told his wolf to snif around the ground until he catch the aroma of the orcs. He gave somekind of bark and they set the logs around the area and tried making fires. They placed the steaming cauldrons full of steaming soup on it hoping it would protect the fire from extinguishing and waited for the orcs to come out.
inally after a while they got out and to their surprise found hot steaming soup facing them they all let out somekind of scream and ran back out the tunnel and all returned to there hidout but all the archers got them and got all of them killed. As the last one fell they heard cheering on the other side meaning the orcs had retreated, but for how long no one knew. Though only one thing was enough to reasure them no one had died, but half of the lot got wounded, meaning Laie had her hands full at the house of healings. All the captains heading for a meeting to report all of there doings through the little war so Trey captain of the rangers could report to the king.
hat another great rainy morning to write about in my diary." Naran thought as she headed home to change herself and then leave again for the pub.
