Butterfly dwelt in the gardens of Lorien in Valinor and tended to the flowers and small animals that lived there. Her service and talents are given to Yavanna and Lorien. Having a thirst for knowledge, she spends hours in the gardens reading. She longed to explore and expand her knowledge, and so, one day Yavanna told Butterfly that the Valie wanted her to travel to Middle-earth and live among Men and Elves, so she sent her and told her to seek out Lothlorien. There, Butterfly dwelt with the Elves known as the Galadhrim. Butterfly grew to love the Elves and counted them among some of her best friends. Even though Butterfly loved living in Lothlorien, she began to grow weary, her wandering spirit took her on a journey. Butterfly found herself in Isengard.
Now, she has made it her home. If you see Butterfly wandering around the valley there ,you will know her by her long, flowing, raven hair. She stands about five feet tall. Her skin is fair and her eyes are as green as emeralds. Her robes are like a shimmering, ocean blue and she wears a cloak of lighter blue. In her hand, she carries her staff – Starfire. It is made of the finest wood and stars are carved in the sides. The top is star-shaped and has a blue diamond surrounded by smaller, white ones. She delights in birds of the air, a love only second to the delight in the true butterfly after which she was named. One of her most trusted friends is her snow white parrot ,whom you could have guessed is named Snowball.
