Manwe and Varda and Yavanna summoned me to speak with them. i was asked if i would go to Middle Earth to heal it of its wounds after all the great evil that had being doen to it. Yavanna said that i as the best of her Maia and although she hated the prospet of my leaving , she knew that it was necessary.

And so i left Valinor and arrived at the Grey Havens in the year 20 of the second age and i stayed there unitl the year 105 of the Fourth Age when i returned to Valinor with Celeborn. i was called Merlin in Valinor and maintained that name on Middle earth and beacme known as Merlin the Red for i always wore red robes.

For although my work was completed during the second age, the realm of Suron the Abhored endured and i needed to wait for his downfall to cleanse Middle earth. i battled long and hard during the second age with Cirdan and GilGalad and Galadriel and Elrond and was there at Bard Dur to see his downfall but alas, i was unable to complete my work for the foundations of the Dark Tower stood firm and unitl his complete downfall and destruction , they could not be moved. Fellow Maia came in 1000 of the Third Age and i my Friend Aiwendil there and Olorin, my old friend. how i delighted to see them. as For Curmno, i was anxious in spirit for him and alas, he turned traitor. i saw not Allatar and Pallando for they ventured in to the east and i never saw them but they were victorious in the end. alongside the White Council during the Third Age against Sauron. i roused the north and i aided the men and dwarves in the War of the Ring.
