The air here is sweet with the fragrance of flowers, every breath is a joy. The deeper you walk, the more enchanting the scene, till finally you gaze, amazed at Caras Galadhon, the City of Trees. Lights flicker among the branches, calling your spirit onward and upward. Here lies the heart of the Golden Wood, the home of the Lady Galadriel and the Lord Celeborn. Enter, be at peace, welcome home.

As you approach the Royal thrones of the Lord and Lady of Lothlorien, you see sitting before you Celeborn, Lord of the Galadhrim. Telerin elf that he is, Celeborn has long silver hair and piercing blue eyes. Although stern of appearance he is actually kind-hearted, and when he laughs or smiles, his eyes shine brightly. Acknowledging your presence he says: As the Lord of the Galadhrim I welcome you to Lothlorien. Here you may rest from your travels in peace and comfort. You will find the Galadhrim both welcoming and friendly. Because of this, feel free to enjoy yourself in these woods - move peacefully and you shall not be hindered in any way. Act with malice or malcontent and you may find yourself dealing with the Lorien guard. Peace be with you.

Upon her throne beside Lord Celeborn sits the unmistakable presence of Lady Galadriel. With her blond hair flowing down her back and her bright gaze locked onto you, her strong-willed determination is evident and yet also tempered by an equal measure of kindness lurking in the depths of her eyes. She waits patiently for Lord Celeborn to greet you and when he is done, she speaks herself: With the Lord Celeborn, I welcome you to the wonderful and beautiful land of Laurelindorenan. You will find it at first perhaps to seem a mysterious place, as the Golden Wood tends to be closely guarded. And yet you will also find that upon getting to know some of the Galadhrim, we are a friendly people. I hope that you will find your time filled with pleasure and enjoyment here as you build memories and friendships that will last throughout the ages. For any who may seek to enter these borders with malice in their thoughts, I say this. Beware. The Galadhrim are gracious to those we consider friends, yet we will not hesitate to put down any that threaten our land, our family, and our freedom. Long may the peacefulness of this Wood endure, and long may the happy sound of enjoyment float softly upon the sweet air of Lothlórien.
