Ann-Tennath

The Music Guild

"No folk could they see, nor hear any feet upon the paths; but there were many voices, about them, and in the air above. Far away up on the hill they could hear the sound of singing falling from on high like soft rain upon leaves."

Welcome to Ann-Tennath, or the Music Guild! Here, one may share, show, and learn talents of the Galadhrim! The melodies of the Eldar were said to be the most spectacular in all of Middle Earth, and the Music Guild hopes to capture it!

What the Music Guild Does

Ann-Tennath is a place in Lorien where those who desire to sing or play instruments of Middle Earth may do so. They may learn new instruments, or different techniques on how to play their instrument. Performances are given in solos, quartets, and many other ways. Any one from any Kingdom is welcomed, and Meastro Ecaps is happy to accept new members at any time!

A Description of the Music Guild's Talan

As you journey through Laurelindorean, you see a pair of staircases winding in opposite directions around a tree with treble clefs as the features on the balustrades. Arriving at the top you find yourself in Ann-Thennath, the Talan of Music. Before you lies an auditorium with several rows of seats facing a stage. On the stage is the set-up for an orchestra with seats and music stands. Looking around the talan you notice several other staircases leading to small rehearsal rooms. Just to one side of the stage there is a desk piled high with music scores and other paraphernalia. All around the desk you see a variety of musical instruments.
As you approach the desk, an elf comes from one of the rehearsal rooms and sits down at it. Looking at you the elf says: "Welcome to Ann-Thennath. I am Maestro Ecaps, although you may just call me Ecaps." Handing you a piece of paper the elf smiles saying: "Here it explains what Ann-Thennath is about. I hope that you enjoy your time here and am willing to join in our orchestra. We also have a choir which is lead by an elfmaiden."
