This form of olvar was found recently on the outskirts of Mordor, with the bones of countless minions lying inside.

It has been aptly named the "Valar Fly-Trap" due to rumors that in the days before the Great War, the Valar opposed to Morgoth the Great could only find one way to infest Utumno without coming down on it in their full power. With the help of Yavanna, they created the only poisonous plant NOT tortured into life by Morgoth. They then, with the help of the elves, planted a seed in the great underground fortress. The seed soon grew and spread like Balrog-fire. It looked immensely evil, so the minions of that age were fooled into believing it was one of them. But when one got near it, "FHWAP"! And that unlucky minion was never seen in mortal earth again.

This is believed to be the only plant that survived the great war, and it is also being studied greatly by scientists.
