The Grishna

Lord Kyl - see Picture Credits

The species of the Grishna, a provoker of Mordorian thought. How can the huge plant move so rapidly? How does it excrete the substance known only as SR? These questions are expected to boggle the minds of great scientists for generations to come.

The Grishna is an all-black plant, typical of Mordor. It has huge, ample leaves, known as Keyhi. It is dangerous only to the unwitting and the weak. But if approached with caution and strong will, the brave get a kingly reward. It is a carnivorous plant, if provoked. It can be aroused by weak consciousness, as stated before. It can also be alerted by a myriad of slaves it puts out, known as Darthoppits.

If the wayfarer can pass all these hidden dangers, he is greeted at the heart of the plant with a bubbly, rich, burning drink, known as SR. It pours from the plant in rivulets, falling into natural bowl-like hollows, shaped like a Gondorian drinking glass. And if he can pass without knowledge into the plant, he recieves free passage, without fear of harm.

Is there any plant in all the rest of the world like the strange and wonderful Grishna? I for one don’t think so.
