Sand-Drakes live in the dry lands of the world. They are winged and they do not use breath as a weapon. Sand-Drakes are smaller and not as intelligent as their other dragon cousins. Despite this fact they are extremely swift and have extremely large claws and teeth. This gives them the ability to attack their foes just like a hawk goes for its prey. A Sand-Drake can swoop down and severely cripple its enemy, whether it is another dragon or a caravan passing through. Another weakness they have is the inability to cast most spells. The only true magical ability that Sand-Drakes possess is the power to alter their shape. Sand-Drakes shape-shift by touching an object and then taking the shape of that object.
