A Spy report from Rohan

I was in Rohan, on various business items, and was disguised as a person, so I could move about freely without large suspicion being drawn to myself. Anyway, while I was travelling around, I noticed guided tours of the Cavalry establishment. Needless to say, it is a very rare chance to get a free look at the inside of the Cavalry headquarters without laying your life on the line trying to get through security and spy on it. So I joined a small tour that was just starting. Well we got inside the building, and were being shown the training grounds for the cavalry, and the horse stables, and the jousting grounds, etc. I thought this was all very routine, nothing interesting, but what could you e expect from a civilians tour? However, when we were about half way through the very large establishment, I noticed out toward the horizon a mounstrous barn-looking structure. I asked the tour guide about it, and he gave what seemed to be a very poorly rehersed, pre-written out answer, befor hurryinge the conversation into a different channel. Well, I grew a little curious after that, and when the group turned a corner, a ducked out into the tall grasses, and started making my way to the barn. When I got there, I found out the true proportions of it. It was MASSIVE. It could have been about three hundred meters tall, and about twice that long. Well I was quiet stunned, to say the least. What could the Rohorrim do with such a large structure? Of course I snuck inside to try to find out why, and when I got through the very large security team, i was even more astounded. It was a north eastern section of the Ephel Duath, mapped out exactly to scale, with a behemoth mountain-climbing operation at the bottom, studying the safest ways to climb, the fastest ways to climb, how much equipment could be hauled up, etc. And on the slopes, there was a full regiment of elite Rohorrim, equipped with full climbing gear, and a large selection of weapons, climbing as fast as they could. They were so high up I could barely see their tiny forms making their way steadily up the cliffs. Well I thought the point of all this was fairly obvious, so I memorized the section they had built, to compare to maps back in Mordor. If the Rohorrim actually attempt their daring feat, I think they should find company waiting at the top...
