Ar-Pharazôn

Plaza Life

From out the unknown depth of the South he has come, as a tall man, whose stature alone commands great respect and attention from others. 'Tis an enigma of where he originally spawns from, or what he really is, for many doubt him to be of Men. He calls himself Ar-Pharazôn Kathuphazgân, a conquerer and a leader amongst lesser beings of Middle-Earth. His life is war and thus has it always been; and his path has been destructive and fraught with conflict. But there is more behind his dark veil. Great knowledge of the world he seems to have, blessed with depth of arcane wisdom. Aye, he wields his sword and his spear with much mirth and pride, but he’s not only a warrior, or one who seeks only to end things. Of course, at times he can be a terrible man, one who knows nothing of the warmth in life, nor of mercy or pity. But to those who are worthy he can be a good man indeed, one who would seek difference to those who need it, and one who can listen to those who are troubled at heart. One who can love. Many tales have been spun around this man, and many more will come. Tomes and books, gathering dust in some forsaken tower, wield the truth of him, most certainly, and of what he has done. But such must wait 'til the world is ready to know.

Real life:

The one behind 'Phar' is Mattias from Sweden, a 17-year-old dude who enjoys reading and writing. I love epic movies, an interest that probably spawned from seeing PJ's LotR. I also love epic books, like Tolkien's works and Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen series. My dream is to publish a book myself in the future and thus become a professional writer, as my main interest in life must be writing. I'm quite lazy and lethargic in RL, and I find it hard to gather enough energy to further my writing here, in this wonderful place. But I am blessed to have found the Plaza, and I'm very happy of the sheer impact it has made on my life. It sparked my interest in reading more and has worked as a superb platform for developing my writing. And of course, I'm very happy that I've found so many talented and nice people here as well. Well, that wraps my life up quite nicely, I think, without going unnecessarily deep and personal.
