Where should I start? This story is ever evolving, and it will have changed by the time I finish writing. But I shall give a valiant go at it. I originally came from Valinor. My name then was Thror Manwe. Yes, I know, very original. But it was the name my master, Tulkas, gave me. For it was in honor of Aule and Manwe that he named me thus. Soon after my arrival in Middle-earth, I journeyed through the country. It was during this journey that I met my first hobbit. Those quaint little creatures sure know how to eat. After dining with them for a day or two, I journeyed to the home of a great Elf. He called himself Elrond Half-elven. I stayed many a day there, though now that I look back I see that it really wasn't that long. After I had learned of my true calling (or so I thought), I decided to bid farewell to that happy place that the Elves called Imladris. I retained my Istar equipment, and shunned my Elf clothes. After a journey worthy of a song, I finally reached the home of my fellow wizards, Isengard. There I stayed for even longer, studying with Olorin and Curinir. The leaders of the Order of Anor were good leaders, but they lacked a certain unknown quality. I joined the Council of the Sword, the armed force of the White Council. After completing a number of the training exercises, I became bored. There was simply not enough to do in the Tower of Orthanc. The Rulers were not paying me as much attention as I desired. I decided to make the move to Mordor. The evilness of the minions had long interested me, and I quickly joined the Garrison at the Morannon. Again, I had completed a number of my training exercises when something changed. The wise rulers of Mordor had decided to reform the system of the Army and force everyone to re-enlist. That I did, and I am now a member of the Blades division. I am the proud owner of a fierce Wain named Hathûl which translates to 'blade' in the Black speech. I intend on moving on in my career as a minion and I hope my name reflects that. For it should show my ambition.
