Ghâshgûl

Plaza Life

Ghâshgûl, meaning 'Wraith of Fire', is one of the Nazgûl of Mordor. He doesn't care about anything but the One Ring, and won't find rest if it's not on the finger of the Dark Lord. He finds pleasure in torturing Free People, and hanging around in pub looking for a reason to play his evil tricks on anyone who comes near him. Naturally he enlisted in the Army of Mordor, where he has a good excuse to be his vile self and go all over Middle-earth to spread the fear of him and his superiors.
His main aim in Mordor is to become of a high rank in the Army, and to have fun with the other Minions who have deserved his respect.

His history doesn't matter to him, and shouldn't matter to anyone else. He tries to forget his 'good' day's as a Man, and considers them something from the past. His eyes are on the future, and neither words nor deeds can change that.

Real Life

My name is Ward, I'm 19 years old (almost twenty) and I live in Belgium, a small country between the Netherlands, France and Germany (and across the Channel: England.) I play an instrument, the clarinet, and am a fanatic scouts-member. At the moment I'm a leader of the children between 9 and 11 years old, and my totem name is 'Ondeugende Oeakari', which means as much as 'Naughty Monkey' (An 'Oeakari' is a kind of monkey which is social, likes to spend time in trees and invents games in captivity.) I enjoy going pubbing with my friends, and playing darts.

I'm studying in the KHLim now, and trying to become an English, Dutch and History-teacher. Once I've got my diploma I'd like to go to England for a year and improve my pronunciation and vocabulary.

I found out about the plaza 4 years ago. My mother has always been a Tolkien-fan herself, and gave me the books which where hers when she was young. (I don't have to mention these were almost falling apart due reading them over and over again.) On the plaza I've spent my first two years being and Elf named 'Dínrothion', (after a while being called 'Gil-Galad’) then I went to Khazad-dûm for two years and used the name 'Delnynalvor' and afterwards 'Naragshathûr'. And now I'm here in Mordor, with the name 'Ghâshgûl'.
