Real Life:
My real name is Ariadna, and I was born in Cuba. When I was nine-years-old however I moved to the United States and have been living here in Miami ever since. Most of my education was taken here, which is probably why by now my Spanish is mostly gone, except for when I speak with my family. I am an art history major at Florida International University, doing my Bachelor's degree so far. It's my passion, so I am really excited about my choice and can't wait to graduate.then go to my Master's.then my Ph. D. Obviously my education will never end, but I enjoy learning something new everyday, so I don't mind too much. When I was in eleventh grade, the whole Lord of the Rings mania started. I was in high school at the time, and I remember seeing kids, in the hallways before class, reading the books to catch up before the movies came out. I remembering rolling my eyes every time, thinking how ridiculous this craze was. I was constantly told by a friend of mine to read the books, but just shrugged it off always and didn't pay any attention. When The Fellowship of the Ring came out in DVD, my cousin's husband lend it to me. I thought, "okay, I'll watch it and just make everyone leave me alone and stop harassing me." So I watched it, and the moment it was finished I started to laugh because I realized that I had just become a fan. I automatically bought the DVD when the special edition came out, bought all three books, and read them during the Christmas break. I was hooked, I was a part of the craze, and I couldn't have been happier.
