Real Life:
David Quivey - The Man behind the Enigma of Pellakal is a curious fellow indeed - California born, David is a scholar, an artist, a traveler, and a musician. He is heavily involved in Living History, or experimental archaeology, which is the reconstruction of past historical life-ways. As such he's learned and practices many curious and lost techniques from the past, working in metals, woods, fabrics, and etc. David is currently (2006) an undergrad History and Anthropology major at a California University, and plans to persue his PhD and teach at the University level (good luck mate, you're gonna need it!). He enjoys playing his Bagpipes, playing in Fife and Drum bands, shooting competative rifle matches, wearing suits, traveling to Europe and the US East Coast, and generally surprising his mates with something quite unexpected.
Plaza Life:
It was a warm sunny sort of day in Hell (actually just a normal sort of day, a Thursday, no less, in early August of 2002) when Pelly rode into the Riddermark, a bleary-eyed and heavily hung over youth with a mind to mischief. The one thing he can still not remember to this very day is "what on Arda was I doing the night before and where was I?" Laying aside these philosophical questions for a later day, Pellakal immediately put himself to work in building up a memorable career in Rohan, at which he was at least partially successful. He proved to be a Master of All Trades and Jack of None, and tried his hand at many careers including and not limited to: Cavalry Soldier, Foreign Ambassador to Mordor, Debate Team member (once in his youth, and again in his old age), Drinker, Campian Trainer, Master Hunter, Drinker, Armourer, and Head of the Riddermarket. In his wild youth he was found either in the local pubs or on some mad adventure proposed by one of his mates, and always accompanied by his incredibly famous horse Pferd, who has been known to out-drink his owner even on half price nights! It has been rumoured that such binge-nights even lead him straight into the gates of Mordor itself! Now with grey in his hair, Pell can only be found when he is least expected and least needed, ready as before for a mad adventure or for a humorous tale from the days of yore...
