The Dragon Room - Cavalry HQs

This is the Headquarters of the Elite Cavalry of the Mark. Here all major cavalry announcements are made, and this is the place to take any questions you might have about the cavalary, where the commanders will help you out. This is where promotions are announced, important messages are made and where the roster - which shows who all the cavalry riders are - is hung for all to see. All general business regarding the cavalry goes in here, although be aware that although OOC posts are allowed, most people RP there.

The Oath of the Cavalry

This thread is where all the newest members of the cavalry go to make their oath. If you wish to become a member, you will need to make an oath to the cavalry before your training, although you don't need to worry about it till you have completed the cavalry enlistment exam. the oath simply asks that you be fair in war, that you do not join other kingdom armies and that you show respect for your comrades and commanders. It is strictly in character and does not effect your real life.

The Cavalry Courtyard - A Marshal and A Murderer

The cavalry courtyard is a place where cavalry riders can role-play their daily lives at places such as the stables, their dormitories or the Great Hall. However, this particular thread has been opened for a special reason, because the First Marshal of the cavalry has been attacked and kidnapped. This thread is for all cavalry riders (including trainees) to track down the cavalry commander and the man who attacked her by searching through all the places around the Cavalry Courtyard.

Helm's Deep RPG - Fords of Isen

This thread depicts the events that take place at the Fords of Isen as Saruman's army attempts an invasion of Rohan. Cavalry warriors are given the chance to roleplay themselves during the second Battle of the Fords, and to battle against the army as they defend their country, and then later as they ride to give aid at Helm's Deep and Edoras. It follows the events as Tolkien wrote them, filling in gaps in the narrative with yet more challenges for the RPers. Please remember, this is a cavalry only thread, so if you wish to join in you will need to be a member of the cavalry. But there is a similar thread running parallel to this one for non-cavalry riders to RP the events at Helm's Deep, and this is called Helm's Deep RPG - Forth Eorlingas

These are the two cavalry training threads run by the Larmægisters Imbeannowyn and Éoarod. It's in these threads that the new cavalry recruits are trained in order to be able to join the ranks of the cavalry. If you just passed your cavalry entrance exam and were told to report to either Imbe or Rock/Éoarod, it is in one of these two threads that you have to report to your trainer.

Fëawen’s Cavalry Hælend Training

This thread is for cavalry members who wish to become a Hælend only. By going through training with the experienced Hælend Fëawen, every full cavalry member can become a healer her/himself. The only thing to do is ask one of the Marshals and wait to be sent over to Fëawen’s training thread.

Cavalry Council (Private-Invite Only)

This private thread is for the Cavalry Marshals (the high commanders) and the Rulers of the Riddermark to discuss and arrange all the business that goes into keeping the cavalry running. Some other riders are allowed in this thread, but only after they have been invited to help out with a particular thread or event. In here is where most discussions about the cavalry's future take place, and where a lot of major decisions are made, which is why it has often been a place held in high regard within the Riddermark.
