Actually yours is exactly what I was doing. I was just had a space because I wanted to post one character.

that was actually a test to see whether my method was detectable, which I have now found out it is.

No I don't think it is the same, Uruva, for a number of reasons I won't be able to articulate on here particularly well.

But mostly because I cannot post one character, even with the added benefit of a space following it.

I think my problem is that I never got inside the box, so all transparent and fully perceptible methods are elusive to me. My obsessive desire to extricate myself from the 'box' that is both the literal and the metaphorical restrictive limits of the posting system here has condemned me to the marginalised position I find myself in now.

Also I have a smartphone, but it is utter crap, doesn't really have a proper browser anyway, and after a tedious half hour wait for it to load this page, it is shedding no light on anything whatsoever.

Tell me people who know my current method, am I at all on the right tracks? Or am I sitting at a big fat, totally uncompromising dead end?

I can say that in the most basic sense all three of us are using the same method. It's the implementation that is different. Also, Narv's initial implementation probably took more work but after devising it his probably is the quickest and easiest. Also ours is actually a little different from each other but more similar than either are to Narv's.

I'd say Narv's is both the dumbest (for its sheer obviousness) and smartest (for its effectiveness). I'd probably say the same thing about Narv himself.

Ours is the jankiest but less bloated. Which I can only hope describes me.

Can you tell the difference between my first method and my new and improved version? My first one took a whole extra 5 seconds to implement each time, and also included many elements which were probably having effects neither here nor there.

my first method being the one which allowed posts of fewer than four characters (although still no fewer than two), but did not allow for capitals only.
